Much Faster, and More Efficient

Whether you are browsing the web in your spare time, catching up on the latest news, or playing games instead of doing your school work, you will use some form of internet browser. You have several browsers to pick from, for example;

  1. Internet Explorer (default),
  2. Mozilla Firefox,
  3. Google Chrome,
  4. Safari,
  5. Opera
When you want to do something simple, like move to another page, you can click a link. When you want to copy and paste an url (move it to someplace else) you can select those options from a drop down menu.
For nearly every mundane task, there is a faster method to reach the same goal. Through the use of a keyboard, many objectives can be achieved within a fraction of the original time.

For example, the latter, when a mouse is used, can be done in 3 steps, namely;
  1. Drag the mouse over the text
  2. Right click
  3. Select copy
  4. Click where you want to copy the text to
  5. Right click
  6. Select Paste
The same task, at no extra charge, can be completed much faster
  1. Click the mouse in the text box
  2. Ctrl + A (select the text)
  3. Ctrl + C (copy)
  4. Click where you want the ext to go
  5. Ctrl + V (paste)
Try it now, hold Ctrl and press A (release) and press C (release). The text is now copied. Click and press V. It is now in the desired location.
Through the use of short-cuts, (as they are commonly known) you can save a lot of time, and energy.
Efficiency is the key.
